Integrated project delivery · Owner's side · BC & Alberta
One table. One open book.
KAG runs integrated project delivery on the owner's side, from feasibility to handover, under CCDC 30, Canada's standard IPD contract. Every month, every party sees the same numbers and where they are heading.
I · Your seat at the table
Your seat at the table
KAG sits on the project's management teams as your representative, outside the team's profit pool, from the first site conversation to the final audit.
II · Earned value on the open book
Earned value on the open book
A monthly forecast of where cost, the team's profit pool and your own exposure will land, so problems show up while there is still time to fix them.
III · Gates you control
Gates you control
Your budget is independently reviewed and locked before the team is hired. You can stop after validation with only costs paid. Handover has to pass a quality gate.
IV · How the project moves
How the project moves
V · How KAG is paid
How KAG is paid
A fixed fee by phase, with part of it at risk against cost, schedule and quality. On top, a capped share of the savings you keep, measured against your budget, never the team's target, or a fixed milestone bonus where grants fund the project. KAG earns more only when you do.
VI · Built for
Built for
Nonprofit housing societies, First Nations, municipalities and developers of purpose-built and below-market rental in BC and Alberta, site-built or modular, one project or a program of several, who want cost certainty more than the lowest first price.
VII · Who you work with
Who you work with
Pieter Schoeman, PMP, Principal. In construction since 2003 across four seats: subtrade, general contractor, cost consultant and owner's representative. Over $1B in project oversight across Canada, the US, the UK and Southern Africa.
§ · Independence
We never hold a construction contract on a project we advise. No referral fees. Our fee comes from the client.
VIII · Start a conversation
Start with a feasibility conversation.
Bring a site, a budget or just a question.
